| I had a good cry today.
Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever.1 Chronicles 16:34

| Wow. So I was just about to go to sleep, when I suddenly hear a commotion right outside my basement room window.
The driveway light flickers on and I hear someone shouting "GET DOWN!! GET DOWN ON THE F***ING GROUND NOW!!". "GET DOWN!!"
Woke my family up. As we all went upstairs to look out the window, we see two cops haul someone out of our driveway/backyard down the street. And then they were gone. What a world we live in. First time....
Watched my first NHL hockey game ever tonight from the 5th row just above the penalty box. Canucks beat the Stars in a nailbiting shootout.
First time doing some major overclocking on my new comp. Overclocked my new Core 2 Duo E6400 to 3 Ghz and running stability tests... Lets see how much farther I can push....
Listened to the song "First Time" from Winter Sonata
And something that I continue so struggle with.
"But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."

| Ahh... Christmas time is coming and so many things are going on. I spend so much of my time now talking with people and sharing in their lives. I love listening to people's stories, because everyone's has amazing experiences, and there is no one that I've met, who does not have a story to tell. Even those who think their lives are so boring and that no one could possibly be interested in them. I feel so blessed to have all of you who read this, and those who share in my life each day. Whenever I speak to someone, I feel excited when they begin to share with me their so-called boring or burdensome life stories. I used to think that I shouldn't share about myself because it would be a burden to others, but you know, there is something awesome about having others to share your burdens with and to walk alongside you. People weren't made to be islands. One person's junk is another treasures, and thats how I feel about the
stories that people share with me. All stories are treasures to me.
So in the future, never feel about sharing your 'junk' with me. hahaha! =)
I love teaching my Sunday school class and sharing my life stories with the kids, and in turn, having them tell me their stories. Many times I just shake my head in wonder, as I listen to them. I teach them, and at the same time God teaches me lessons through those kids and their simple faith. Sometimes, you don't realize the things that are wrong in your life until a child inadvertently hands you a mirror. Kids love to share about their lives and their problems and they don't hold back. The sack of stories/experiences that they lug around with them is definitely smaller than ours, but when you ask them to share about their lives, you can see the glow that lights up their faces as they wave their little hands in the hair. They completely up-end those sacks, proudly shaking out all their 'junk' for everyone to see and share. Its funny how we carry more with us, yet we often throw far less out onto the table than them.
On that note, here's a story that a friend sent to me that I thought was really neat. Sorry that its in Chinese, but if you'd like to know more about a little girl and an umbrella, feel free to ask me!
